Diagnostic Tests

As educators we diagnose and recommend. Just like the trained physician tells you the results of your tests and what the information gained from them means for your life and health, we as educators do this with testing too.

Our teachers will be able to find out what your child can do and what is not yet securely known. After your child has completed the test, our teachers will be working on your report while the results are fresh in her / his mind.

Some test results are comparative to average for that age level so you can see if your child has proven to be:

• about the same
• more capable
• or less capable

You will also be able see how much of a difference there is against average results for that age level.

Please do remember that the results are what the child did on that day. If your child is ill then please email to arrange another time.

Our teachers will send you the results as an email attachment, which arrive within a week.

You may then use these results to make better informed decisions about your child’s education; such as contacting the child’s teacher, or getting some extra help or acceleration at school.

Annual testing will help you keep on track so you can measure the progress that is made. For example, if you are using an intervention program you can check progress and make sure your efforts are being successful.
